Chairman's Award:

The Chairman’s Award is the most prestigious award at FIRST, it honors the team that best represents a model for other teams to emulate and best embodies the purpose and goals of FIRST.
It was created to keep the central focus of FRC on the ultimate goal of transforming the culture in ways that will inspire greater levels of respect and honor for science and technology, as well as encouraging more of today’s youth to become scientists, engineers, and technologists.



Engineering Inspiration Award

Celebrates outstanding success in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering within a team's school and community.

Los Angeles Regional Volunteer of the Year Award: D. Newhouse

The Volunteer of the Year Award is awarded to the person who goes beyond the call of duty volunteering their time, whoever wins this award most definitely deserves it and more.


Woodie Flowers Award

The Woodie Flowers Award celebrates effective communication in the art and science of engineering and design. Dr. William Murphy founded this prestigious award in 1996 to recognize mentors who lead, inspire, and empower using excellent communication skills. The Woodie Flowers Award is presented to an outstanding engineer or teacher participating in the robotics competition who best demonstrates excellence in teaching science, math, and creative design.

FIRST Dean's List Finalist Award

This award celebrates a student's outstanding leadership and effectiveness in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering and engineers, both within their school, as well as their community. FIRST Dean's List Finalists will compete at the championship for the FIRST Dean's List.
